About Me

For more than a decade, I’ve had the privilege of working in special education—supporting students, partnering with families, and collaborating with educators to create learning environments where every child can thrive. My journey began with a bachelor’s degree in Special Education, followed by a master’s degree in Instructional Design, but the real learning happened in the classrooms where I taught.I’ve spent years teaching in autistic support and emotional support classrooms, working alongside students with diverse strengths, communication styles, and needs. Those experiences shaped not only my teaching philosophy, but also my belief that inclusion is not a place—it’s a pathway. And every student deserves a pathway that honors who they are.Over time, I saw a pattern: families wanted to advocate for their children but often felt overwhelmed by the process. Educators wanted to support their students but sometimes lacked the tools, training, or team collaboration needed to do so effectively. I knew I could help bridge that gap. That’s why I created this space. My goal is to empower parents to become confident advocates—understanding their rights under the law, navigating the IEP process with clarity, and ensuring their child receives the services and supports they need. I want families to feel informed, prepared, and never alone in the journey. At the same time, I’m passionate about helping educators build welcoming, inclusive classrooms where students feel safe, valued, and understood. I support teachers in strengthening their advocacy skills, deepening their understanding of student needs, and building strong, collaborative relationships with their IEP teams. When educators and families work together, students win. This work is personal to me. It’s rooted in years of hands‑on experience, countless conversations with families, and a deep belief that every child deserves access to meaningful, equitable education. Whether you’re a parent seeking clarity or an educator looking for support, I’m here to walk alongside you.Together, we can build pathways that lead to belonging, growth, and opportunity—for every learner.
